Rued Langgaard Festival would like to invite you and your choir to participate in Rued Langgaard Festival's opening concert Domkirkepladsen synger.

Singers from choirs all over South and Southern Jutland have signed up – and we hope to gather a large choir at Ribe Cathedral Square on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 16:30.

Everyone is welcome to participate. If you want to participate, you can still sign up as an individual or as a choir to Helle Lund Rosborg: hlr@langgaardfestival.dk

Practical information about the concert Domkirkepladsen sings:

  • Rehearsal and difficulty level:

    Everyone can join in regardless of level!

  • Participants:

    You can participate as a whole choir, part of a choir, a group of singers or just individuals.

  • Attire:

    If you have choir robes, it would be festive if you wear them to the concert. Otherwise, there is a free dress code.

Concert day on September 4:

  • 15.00 Coffee/water and Langgaardkringle in Ribe (more information about meeting place will follow)
  • 16.00 Everyone meets at Ribe Domkirkeplads and finds their area
  • 16.30 – 17.15 Concert
